The Australian Wooden Boat Festival has just wound up in Hobart and was wonderful, as usual. Over 500 wooden boats tied up around the docks for 4 days and more than 200,000 people visited. I was lucky enough to be a volunteer photographer for the event and was put on the tall ship the Windeward Bound for the journey up the Derwent into Hobart, surrounded by hundreds of wooden boats. An experience I will never forget.
